Stuart House, a 16th century town house in the centre of Liskeard, has been restored by Stuart House Trust as an arts and heritage centre. The house is used for exhibitions and sales of arts and crafts, meetings/seminars and other, heritage, community and cultural events.
The house itself has twelve rooms and a coffee room, many of which are available for use by events organisers. For more information on the layouts of the rooms and suggested donations please see Room bookings. Bookings can be made by contacting Stuart House.
There is a cafe on the ground floor which serves beverages, cakes, and soup with roll/bread.
The garden to the rear of the House has been laid out as a 17th century Gentlemens’ Garden.
A Wi-Fi hotspot is available with a broadband connection, please ask at Reception in the ‘Hall’ for the current password.
